What a funny word...Buoy. This project has begun as an investigation into how different materials can interact with each other. To that end I wanted a simple form as a foundation for the different layers of materials that will be wrapping each buoy. The main sections are to be clay, while the nose cones, bases, wraps and covers will be of various other usual suspects: steel, wood, plaster, foam, fabric, wax, cardboard, etc. enjoy.
